You have two main options: create a website by yourself, using a web builder such as Wix, Weebly or Go Daddy.  You could create a basic website using any of these basic DIY builders. The other option is to take on the services of a professional web designer or agency. This is a great choice for businesses, who require more than just a single page site.

The costs are often a deciding factor when it comes to web design. Obviously, the more complex your site is, or the more customised programming is required, the more expensive your build will be.  Doing a site yourself is a lot cheaper, however, there are downsides. Whilst the site will probably end up looking okay, the function of a DIY site is often lacking. There are limited ways to edit your site and SEO is often very difficult!
